Carnival Dream Returning to Port?

The Dream passed us (RCL Allure OTS) leaving Galveston Sunday 5-14, and was returning to the port about an hour later.  What happened?

It seemed like it was a medical emergency.

Yes that is correct. It was a medical issue with a guest. The captain came on the intercom around 6, 6:30 and said "You may have noticed that we have turned around and are going back to Galveston..." LOL

 

We docked at the RC terminal where the Allure had been and set out again an hour or so later. it did not impact the rest of the trip.
