We are looking for a hotel in Santiago for the end of our cruise next year. We’d appreciate any suggestions either for or against a particular hotel, as well as what area the hotel is in.

We recently stayed at the Singular Santiago and loved it. It’s very nice and a great location (Lastarria).

We really liked Las Condes neighborhood.  Stayed at Ritz Carlton, but friends were nearby at Doubletree and they liked that as well. Easy walkable to many shopping and restaurant highlights, felt clean and safe.  The tallest building in the city with the viewing platform is nearby, as well as a few parks.  Would suggest checking it out. About 30 min from airport if I recall.
