first time on Carnival and noticed that it arrives back to Miami at 8am. We have FTTF and wondered what is the earliest we can be off the ship.? We have only cruised with Celebrity and they are usually in port at 6am. Trying to see if we can make a 12:30pm flight

When on her in June I recall the debarkation started around 7.30/45. We chose to carry our own luggage off and had to wait for our muster station to be called. It turned into an absolute fiasco by 9am with CBP pausing the debarkation process a number of times. I don't blame Carnival for that but at the same time they didn't handle the crowds onboard trying to get off in the greatest of fashion.

If you are flying out of Miami even without FTTF a 12:30 flight should be fine under normal circumstances,  The airport is only about a 20-30 minute  taxi ride or so.  If you are flying out of Fort Lauderdale that is about a 45 minute ride from the Miami port so it would probably still be an ok flight time.
