charmingtortoise Posted July 13, 2023 #1 Share Posted July 13, 2023 Hi there, I see there are three (or so) places to do chocolate tours in Grenada. Does anyone have experiences, good or bad, with any of them?
DaMom Posted July 26, 2023 #2 Share Posted July 26, 2023 I can only speak to the chocolate tour we did in the DR, for what it's worth - it was fascinating! Hoping you get a response from someone who's done one in Grenada because I'd be interested to do another when we return to the Caribbean later this year.
hasentreelake Posted November 1, 2023 #3 Share Posted November 1, 2023 We will be in St Georges, Grenada on 26 Nov (X Silhouette). We are taking a ship excursion - Chocolate SPice Cultural Experience. We report back here once we complete this tour...
hasentreelake Posted November 28, 2023 #4 Share Posted November 28, 2023 The Chocolate SPice Cultural Experience was to a little chocolate maker - Tri Island Chocolate. The two small Maxi Buses were jammed full. It was 1/2 hour ride to and from the little chocolate maker. This is a small (fairly new) business and their story is very entrepreneurial. It's a cute little tour with some local dancing, spice walk, and chocolate tasting. Once again a more expensive and lengthier Spice/Food tour was offered and in hindsight maybe we should have booked that one ...
