I only have sailed out of the Manhattan Westside piers (since the 1970's) including a 13 day on Meraviglia!!!

 

you are so correct - she is a lovely ship(it was my first sailing on a mega ship as such - I was hesitant at first but was a convert after).

In regards to reprovisioning the ship...

 

I have a friend who was a chocolatier in the Jean Philippe Chocolate shop on the Meraviglia out of Port Canaveral and recently transferred to the Euribia in the Mediterranean. He was constantly telling me that they could not get the right butter or block chocolates [milk, dark, white] needed for him to do his job and create the confections to be sold in the shop. This was about a year ago. Was it still a "Supply Chain" issue? You would think that was all sorted out by now! Especially bananas?
