To book another cruise on iard

We will be a Regent cruise in February. Are trying to decide whether or not to book another cruise not long after, about 2 months later.

is there any benefit of bookings whilst on board?

 

We are just not sure whether to do another cruise so soon, we want to check out this Regent cruise first before committing as it is a longer cruise.

Yes, you usually get the best offers for future cruises if you book on board. Not sure how that would work for one just 2 months away. Presumably, that will be fairly well filled and the suite choices would be very restricted, which limits the discount available. 
 

I don’t know if there’s a specific policy on discounting but a cruise that is over a year away and less than 50% sold would be more likely to attract benefits in my view.

By booking another cruise so close to the sail date you will will probably have very limited choices for specialty restaurant dinner reservations, shore excursions and flight options if any of those are important to you.
