Murano glass factory excursion … help…

Hi. Many years ago we took a Seabourn excursion, while in Venice, called  “”Murano Glass and Burano Lace”. While on this excursion we bought a beautiful mirror that unfortunately has gotten a piece broken off the frame.  We are going to be in Venice next week and would like to bring the mirror to the original factory/store to see if it can be repaired.  Would anyone know the name of the glass factory in Murano that Seabourn uses for this excursion?  Sadly, Seabourn will not give out vendor information. Thanks for your help.

Have you checked whether there’s a signature or hallmark on the mirror?  If so, that would identify the maker.

Or, you might bring the mirror (if not too large) or detailed photos of the mirror and make inquiries. Murano artisans are likely to recognize the work of another studio, even if the studio is no longer in operation. 
 

If you’re staying in Venice (as opposed to visiting on a cruise), your hotel’s concierge might be able to put you in touch with a Murano expert.

We did a Murano Glass excursion when there in 2018 and I just looked up our old itinerary.  While it did not list the business name, I did find this online, perhaps it is the place?

VENIER GLASSWORKS, or

FORNACE VENIER

The location looks familiar as it was adjacent to the walkway by the water.
