Just a question please? We are sailing Miracle next year for an Alaska cruise. What is the Al Fresco? Is it a specialty restaurant?

Al Fresco is a special dinner they do on Journey cruises - typically for Diamond cruisers. They set up tables on Lido for 2 seatings - usually about 100 people each seating. There is no charge, but is by invitation only.

We used to tender in Sitka I thought, but now we docked. About 5 miles from downtown but there is a free shuttle bus to take you there.

There aren't many cab or Uber options, but we called a cab to take us to the Raptor Center - one of the stops we were supposed to go to on our tour.

When we were down - we called the taxi and this time just to take us back to the ship.

We really enjoyed our time at the Rapture Center  - you got some great pictures.

We go every time to visit Volta. It will be a sad day when he passes, but he should live a while longer. I was a member once upon a time.
