  1. Last week (Sept 28 - Oct 5) we enjoyed the comedian on the Eurodam. We went to the early show; he did do an adult show later. We saw him in the theater. I will look at the Dailies and come back with his name as well the other entertainers.
  2. Well, I would have absolutely signed up for that mission had the cruise started more smoothly. 😉 Maybe you'll be curious enough to channel your inner Paul Harvey and go in pursuit of "the rest of the story 🤔 We silly Texans (neither of us are Natives, but having lived in TX a combined 50+ years, we claim Texan status😉) thought going to AK would be akin to visting Siberia. Spent too many (honestly, 1 is too many) winters in Fargo ND to think cold is meant to be enjoyed outdoors 🤷‍♀️, so I understand your aversion to cold. Imagine our surprise (and delight) when we were treated to 14 consecutive 70° days during our first cruise. It was fabulous and we were hooked. You'll want to go early -> high season to have the best weather, but now that we know what awaits us, we do also like end of season to enjoy a break from the heat. If you're not a fan of nature, wildlife and clean air...
  3. Worst part was not being able to use DH phone because I had no way to do MFA confirmations and I couldn't use my computer for similar reason - it's a work computer that requires verification on your phone to clear the lock screen. Ugh Then there's the 20,000+ lost photos. 😪 And replacing the DL, bank & ins cards that were in the case. But I lived and upside was DH was able to fork his food at his choosing w/o waiting for my phone to move away, lol.
  4. We opened last season April 29 - May 6 on the Eurodam. You should have some lovely blue skies and snowy peaks. It's beautiful no matter which side of the Season - just like the HAL ships, we L❤️VE Alaska! Our cruise last May began w/a ceremony celbrating HALs 76th season in AK. W/o my phone, I don't have pictures to share other than what DH gave me, so here's part of ship as we were preparing to board. And here's the view from our balcony as we awaited sail-a-way. I would happily stow away w/you 🫣 Enjoy your cruise, when the time comes. We'll be right behind you on the Noordam May 2025.
  5. Yes, of course, The Shops had markdowns a plenty - AK items were 75% off. And Port of Seattle Luggage Valet is now offering no overlimit bag fees, so holiday and pet sitter gifts were definitely purchased 🫣 I managed to snag a few things for us, too, when we passed by. It looked like flash mobs the first few days and the lines were so long you'd have thought they were giving stuff away.
  6. It's possible the guy on the left had just rolled out bed, but we weren't going to be the ones to ask 🥴 I mean, it was AK and we hear the dress is leaning toward more casual 🙃
  7. Dry cleaning is not included. But HAL laundry service is fabulous!!
  8. I did web check in on laptop as app was just plain wonky. There was one part I couldn't get to save, so I called. Wait time for an agent was minimal and I had an email w/all my docs before we hung up. Yes, ypu to complete the web check in, but MSC agent can do it for ypu by phone if needed. Safe travels - enjoy your cruise!
  9. Status matched Gold July 23; booked and took first cruise in Aug. Mid Oct the cruise and points are still not showing in my profile. Does it always take so long to get credit for completed bookings?
  10. @Vict0riann I'm so sorry - I put chemo yesterday rather than radiation; I should proof my posts better before submitting them. I hope your recovery continues to go well.
  11. Bon Voyage ⛴️🍾 @Heartgrove Bon Voyage ⛴️🍾 @NextOne
  12. Ok, so I'm back. This review obviously did not go as planned - due to a lost phone further complicated by itinerary changes. 🙄 I will get some details posted over the weekend. DH is feeding me some pictures to share. Here's a couple pictures of Dawes Glacier in Tracy Arm Fjord; it replaced GBNP. From the Library, Deck 3
