My wife was able to stay in the same room as me for a fee. Hopefully I will be able to claim everything back off the insurance company, who are being a little slow in sorting out things. So far I’ve had to sort out and pay for my lodging in Lanzarote.

Thanks for the information. Glad it was a first world facility and staff! Good you have trip insurance. We always do and, luckily, have not had to use it. Gives us piece of mind which is worth the money to me. So, out of pocket and insurance reimburses?
