Elation April 30 - Eastern Carib

Anyone else going on this sailing? This is my first time on Carnival, and my hubby's first cruise ever. We are really looking forward to it.

We have booked a guarantee Cat 6 or better. Anyone know when they will confirm the cabin? Also, is there an ATM on board?

Does anyone have any suggestions on excursions? The itinerary will be Half Moon Cay, San Juan, St. Thomas and Grand Turk.

My wife and I are on the Elation on April 30, it will be my 9th with Carnival and her first. We also booked Cat 6 guarantee back in Oct and have been assigned Cat 6D. I was hoping to get the suite as I had on my last cruise on the Victory. Yes there is a ATM onboard.

There is a ATM on board but please dont depend on it, it has limited cash supply and being located near the casino it has been known to run out of dough. You can get cash from your credit card on your sail and sign account there is a 3% fee cheaper then the ATM and no cash fees on your card it will show as purchases along with your other sail and sign charges.

I have been on the Elation it is a wonderful ship, and one of my favorite. We are going on the Elation again in September. Have a great time.

Slowly but surely people are starting to appear :D We've actually got a roll call thread started but there isn't a whole lot of action on it at this point. There is some information there for Half Moon Cay (other threads from Holland America which used to use that island). http://boards.cruisecritic.com/showthread.php?t=258126

Check out carnival.com - we had our cabin numbers at least a week ago when we checked there. Of course they have excursions but you may be looking to do them outside of the line.

Come on over and join the roll call - at this point I think there are only two of us that still check it :(

Welcome aboard!

P.S. I have a PowerPoint presentation from back when it was first announced to the PVP's. I had one send me the information via email. Not a ton of stuff, but a few different pics and basic info about Grand Turk. Any interest let me know.
