Just off the Conquest...any questions??

I just returned from our Conquest vacation and would be happy to try to answer any questions you may have.

 

I would also be willing to write a full review if anyone is interested. Sometimes, I know that there are so many reviews of the same ship/trip together that another one isn't desired. But I would be happy to relay my thoughts if a conquest review is desired.

I would love a review too. I'm with the above poster haven't seen one in a while for the Conquest, going in 3 1/2 weeks !!!!

When and how many deck parties (Lido with band) do they have?

I'd love to read a review! And, I have a question.

 

What time did disembarkment begin? I'm trying to decide whether it's safe to book a 12:25 flight out of MSY. That'll get me home at 4:00. The next flight won't get me in till after 7:00, and I have to be at work the next morning.

NinaCO.... let me shed some light on this subject.... as I was in a similiar situation on my return flight to Nashville. My options were an 11:00 a.m. or 5:50 flight. After talking with Carnival, my TA, Southwest Airlines and reading posts on this board, I think you would be okay booking the 12:25 p.m. flight.

 

Carnival recommends that you do not book a flight EARLIER than 12:30 and added that you never know if there will be a customs delay or if something comes up. My TA recommended the same thing. Most of the posters will probably agree that a 12:25 flight will be cutting it close, but will be okay with early disembarkment.

 

Ironically, Southwest gave me the best advice. To book the later flight and pay the refundable full-price fare (in my case was $50 more than the sale fare) and be guaranteed a seat on the later flight. Because it is a refundable full price fare, I have the option to go stand-by on any flight without any extra charge. Thus, if for some reason I do happen to get off the ship EARLY and make it to the airport for the 11:00 a.m. flight, I can hop on if there's a seat available. Hope this helps.
