Brooklyn cruise terminal Customs & immigration time?

Once you step off the ship how long does it take to get through customs & immmigration?  This is to help me figure out a pick-up time outside the terminal. Thx..

For US citizens with passports it is facial recognition, individual walk up to machine and scan your face. Border turns green and off you go. Turn s red rescan, red again you have to see a C&BP Officer with your documents. 

Any other nationality or BC and ID I do not know the process. It took 5 minutes total for me the walk out of the building was longer 

 

There are just port contractors at the machines directing you as appropriate

It was almost too easy.  Get your bags, get on line, and the facial recognition will get you out in minutes.  The easiest ever.
