Watching the sail away on Port Miami Webcam. Looks like the weather cleared up.

Yes it did. A very light sprinkle when I first got out and then it stayed away.

Sun didn't come back, but that helped keep the temperatures cooler so I was fine without the sunshine 😀

The rain held out and I was able to finish my walk without getting wet and as a bonus, it was cooler than earlier thanks to the clouds.

Even if it had been raining, my view was better than those stuck in that traffic down there.

Definitely some kind of work going on at terminal E, but I did see a Crystal ship docked here last week.

Sailing past Encore.

I thought I was crazy last time, but once again I could smell Portside BBQ coming from Oasis.

If ships docked at the new Terminal AA dock this far inland, I am not sure how other ships will be able to pass? Seems close and MSC is always last to leave.

I was really hoping we would have to turn around so we could sail by Serenade of the Seas back there. What an incredible journey they are starting today. Today is the start of their 9 month world cruise! Amazing!

The strudel was a winner again. It looked like an egg roll so maybe crawfish egg roll would be more accurate, but it was amazing. Super flaky and so hot inside.

The pappardelle with braised lamb was also fantastic. A very nice hearty sauce with tender pieces of meat in it. Yum. I would love to try the full size, but there are a lot of great options on this menu!

The Szechuan shrimp continued the trend and was another outstanding dish. The sauce was not as spicy as the Szechuan sauce you get at Mongolian Wok but it still had a little heat to it. Very good. I would have liked the portion size of the pasta to be a little larger but maybe that is just me.

The BBQ salmon was also very good again. You can't really see it under those monster onion rings, but it was there and it was delicious.

I finished off with the melting cake which can be hit or miss. I like it melting, you know like the name implies. This one was perfect! Just the right amount of cook time and it came out just how I like it. Quite possibly the best melting cake I've ever had.

Overall a fantastic meal from start to finish!

Service was quick and I wonder if the dining room will be less utilized on this shorter cruise than it was on the eight day last week, or at least used more towards the end of the night. I am not used to so many early diners on a non journey cruise like we had last week.

Despite a fantastic nap I still feel like I could turn off the lights and fall asleep right now...at 7 O'clock. Funny how that never happens when you need to get to sleep early. I will power through, need some piano bar time. That doesn't start until 9, but some music is happening at Ocean Plaza at 7:15 and I think that is where I will start my evening.

I just got home a few hours ago after spending the last 8 nights on the Magic. I completely agree with your assessment on the internet. My room was a virtual dead zone, but if I walked out the door and onto Lido proper it worked.

As for the non-smoking casino, Karol was a god send. So much so I did something I rarely do, break out the pen and paper to write a proper thank you note. Karen would just walk by and ignore. It seemed unless you were one of her regulars you were ignored.

One thing I noticed was from about 9-10 was when the servers went on break. Made no sense to me. Also wasn't fond of them closing the bar at 1. At least should have stayed open until the tables were closed.

It's so odd, this week, so far, my room is getting a good signal. Last week was a struggle and I am on the same deck in almost the same spot, just on portside instead of starboard.

I am terrible with names but there is definitely a great cocktail waitress and a less than excellent one in the casino annex. I have mostly stayed away from the casino so thankfully had no idea they closed the bar so early, that is too bad. It has to be difficult to staff such a small bar that late, but you would think they could at least keep someone in there until 2 or 3 like the main casino.
