This cruise will have great timing for the Cherry Blossom festivities.  

 

When is the best time to visit Vancouver to catch the blossoms?
A: Around early March on a typical warm year, the early cultivars bloom first, followed by the popular light pink, Akebono, variety in late March and a dark pink, Kanzan, following a couple weeks after in April. Check out our Blossoms Maps for real-time.

  • Queen Elizabeth Park touts several varieties of cherry trees, which bloom at different intervals from early March to late April.
  • Stanley Park also has rows of blossoming trees near the formal rose garden and the Japanese Canadian WWI war memorial.
