Pampered1971 Posted January 23 #1 Share Posted January 23 Has anyone gone to Chester on their own from Liverpool cruise port? If so, how was that accomplished? Transportation, tours, etc. THANK YOU!!
Izzywiz Posted January 24 #2 Share Posted January 24 I tried a Google search….’Liverpool to Chester for cruise passengers’…and several options showed so you might try that. Chester is a great city to explore if you have an interest in history.
Mim Lloyd Posted January 24 #3 Share Posted January 24 (edited) I live in Liverpool. Chester is easy to get to from Liverpool by train. The cruise terminal isn't far from James Street station where you can get a direct train to Chester. There are many trains throughout the day, the journey time is just under an hour and costs from £7. And if you live in the UK and are of pensionable age with a travel pass, it's free!
