Gluten free dining

Recommended Posts

Normally I identify myself to hotel manager and restaurant manager upon boarding.

different operators handle differently… in some cases, I have been supplied dinner menu menu prior evening so I can make choices and alert kitchen to any alterations that would need to be made; in other cases, I was not offered the pre-order option and was at the mercy of what was “available”.

In some cases, the staff knew me on sight and /or cabin number and knew about the GF requirement.  Other times it was a struggle to get anyone to even acknowledge the issue.

it is identified in my profile.

anyone here have any experience with this on ACL river ships?   Thought's?

You should notify them by email before the cruise. The first afternoon of the trip, the chef meets with any passengers with dietary needs. That should address your issue.
