Tenders

We'll be on the Symphony May 25 in the French Riviera. I understand that Cannes will be a tender port. Can anyone offer any advice on how the tender process works on Crystal? If we're not doing an excursion sold by the cruise line is there normally a wait to get on a tender? Trying to make realistic plans in port based on how long it might take to get to port that morning.

In almost every situation ncluding this one you don't have to wait for others on excursions to board before you.  If you go when the process begins you will likely get the first tender. Say it starts at 8:15 AM if you arrive say 9:30 you might have a queue where you have to wait 10 or 15 minutes because that tends to be a peak time for many.

 

On occasion due to weather/sea situations or some other type of issue there can always be a delay in a port so keep that in mind when you make your plans.
