You said the teen got all the Plus benefits without the alcohol.  They don’t get crew appreciation.  WiFi, yes. Room service, yes. Ordering with the app, yes.  They can use a parent’s Plus for those.  But not alcohol or crew appreciation, casual dining, exercise classes. Soda, desserts, water, coffee are possible if you share and don’t get caught.

It's impossible to see what happens in the privacy of your cabin. Soda's, water, desserts and even alcohol are an option if you feel it's OK. You've already paid for all those things so why not?

I've seen it done all the time on the ships. The crew can't watch everyone.

From observations, many do, some don't.

In our case the only thing she'd probably do is use wifi but since her phone is on her grandmother's plan (not ours) it's tbd how she's allowed to use it.

The Internet access is one thing you are allowed to share. You each have a 1-device plan with Plus or a 4-device plan with Premier. That is the number of devices that can be logged on at the same time. You are allowed to share. You just can't both be logged on to the same account at the same time if you have the 1-device plan.

No, you haven't already paid for those things. You have paid for all the sodas you want to drink. You haven't paid for all the sodas you may want to give away. You may certainly share the suite or Elite mini-bar, since it is a fixed number of drinks; but you may not legally share the drinks from a plan. Just because you probably won't get caught doesn't make it legal or ethical.

I've read here that you can share those because, just like drinks, they ask for your cabin number and apply it to whatever account they feel like. 😄

That's your view on the subject and from what I've seen there are many who don't share the same opinion.
