How available are taxis in Nassau?

We're planning on doing some walking at the port.  There will be a group of 20 or so, and most of us are in decent enough shape to meander to the museum, up to the Queen's Staircase etc.  BUT if we're running short on time or my Mom gets tired of walking, is it relatively easy to find a taxi?
