Check in Southampton

Sailed many times from Southampton but always travelled down from Glasgow the night before.

 

On our 19 May Anthem departure, we have to fly down on the day from Edinburgh. We arrive 9.30 but RCCL hav given us 1-1.30pm check in.

 

Any point trying to check in straight from the airport. Or, can we put our luggage in straight away, then get taxi back to town centre?
 

Or is it easier just waiting?
