embarking on costa med?????

HI everyone,

 

this is my first cruise and I have a question....

 

 

once we embark on the ship and have our welcome buffet, can we get off again and explore fort lauderdale?? dh wants to buy some dressing shoes and he says that we should be able to find that there--

 

can anyone help??

 

we would be arriving around noon and i don't think we leave until about 7pm or so...

No once you have embarked you are on for the duration. Best to shop first then board.....have a great cruise

There is nothing close by for shopping even if you could get off the ship.

I guess you can get off if you want. We cruised last week on the Mediterrane and my son left something in his car after we were on the ship. He had no problem to leave and come back with his drivers license and costa card.
