adjustman Posted July 3 #1 Share Posted July 3 (edited) I am wondering why Celebrity does not award additional Captain Club points when the upgrade is approved as part of the Move Up Program. Quite often the passenger is paying as much or more for an upgrade than if the passenger had booked the upgraded stateroom during the original booking. But is it’s just the cash bid that counts? Or is it factored out from the paying price? Option 1 I would give an offer for 1000$ for an upgrade and it’s just the bid that is counting for yes or decline. Option 2 Base fare paid 5400$ for cruise and I’m giving a bid of 1000$.
