Hotel/Transportation Advise

ATA has canceled our direct flight home from Ft. Lauderdale on 9/4. Even the non direct flights leave too early for us to make. There is a 12:30 pm flight from Miami, but it's not direct and won't get us home until that evening. So, we are planning to spend the night after our cruise on the Triumph in Miami. Not necessarily a bad thing but I'd like some advise on transportation to the Ft. Lauderdale airport. Do any of the hotels around the port area (Bayside) have transportation to the airport? How about the hotels on South Beach? Are there any we can afford? What would you do if spending one night in Miami?
