Palmar Estate Beach Club

Yes...Palmar is open....Here is a picture of the pool at Palmar (pre-wilma)...the beach (ironshore) is across the road. Sherri has some chairs there. There are some rocks so you have to be careful entering and exiting the water but the snorkeling is good.

To the left of the pool is a snack bar, restrooms and lockers to store your stuff. We enjoy stopping here every trip. Sherri's website.. http://www.cozumelinsider.com has more info and coupons. Very quiet and peaceful here.

  • 2 weeks later...

Was there 2 years ago and found the snorkeling to be great. Not much of a beach but perfect for us to go snorkeling. Children actually stayed on the shore playing in the sand....and on the hammock. When we got hungry we just crossed the street for the food, which was fresh and wonderful. This is not a big beach. More like a spot of sand...and across the street is the pool, kitchen area and table to sit under the tree to eat. We are going to return in Oct...we hope no more hurricanes. This place and the people were wonderful.
