is there alot to do within easy walking distance? Is the double decker bus tour stop nearby? Anyone ever use the luggage concierge? We have about 7 hours to fill before we can board our ship, traveling with parents who cannot do strenous walking or extended walking?

Not sure about the double decker bus or the luggage concierge. Walking along the waterfront is pretty exhausting if you're not in great shape. But there are a few things to do at Pier 66/Bell St. Pier. Here's a link to the Odyssey Maritime Discovery Center if you like that sort of thing. There are also a couple of restaurants. Try The Bell St. Diner above Anthony's.

I believe the free ride bus runs along the waterfront now. I was there last summer and used the streetcar, but it's out of service for a year or so.
