Uxmal via Progesso (Pictures)

We visited Uxmal via Progreso in December when sailing there on Elation. Here are some pictures. Highly recommended.

Yes, H. So inspired were we, that my two sons and I are taking two years to plan a 3-4 week tour of the Maya region in late 2007.

4Yanx. Excellent idea. After two cruise ports of call, I've been back to the area for an 8 day trip and last Oct for 14 days. It's a great area and the people are so gentle and proud. Near Uxmal we stayed in a B&B in the village of Santa Elaina and visited Ticul.

Uxmal is my favorite of all the Mayan ruins I have seen. The pictures are great and bring back a lot of memories - thanks for sharing.
