Rhapsody Room - Good or Bad?

Recommended Posts

Okay, I have our paperwork now and it appears as though we are on the third deck, room 3517. Other than being an inside room, is this a decent room as far as location, noise, etc? It's in the front of the ship and it seems many of the "pros" prefer an aft room. Why? If we should try to get a different room, how and which one? Thanks for your help:)

If you can move to midship that would be best. We were on deck 4 outside and the anchor being cranked out was the loudest thing I ever heard and it lasted a minute or so. I was in a deep sleep at 6:00 a.m.

Being all the way aft may provide some engine noise.

My favs in this category are 3813/3815/3817 - you ask why - because they are down a little hallway that gives a bit less traffic and still close to the stairs and elevator and pretty much mid ship. I used to always stay in this hall when I sailed and did insides on deck 2, I would look for these cabins first. I loved it there. Less people stumbling around at night and it just felt more private.
