tomandanne248 Posted April 11, 2006 #1 Share Posted April 11, 2006 I realize you can't bring wine on board without paying the $15 corkage fee. However, if we order a bottle in one of the specialty resaurants, will they allow us to take the remainder back to the room for use another night. Also, whats the general ballpark $ for "inexpensive" bottles? Is it similar to land resaurant prices $30-40 a bottle? Thanks - Tom 4 days and counting...... jla418 Posted April 11, 2006 #4 Share Posted April 11, 2006 On our past trips, the restaurants would also store the partial bottle for consumption on another evening.
newmexicoNita Posted April 11, 2006 #5 Share Posted April 11, 2006 On our past trips, the restaurants would also store the partial bottle for consumption on another evening. Our only problem with this: we never have any left. LOL

Is it too late to order wine for the cabin now, we are sailing very soon? 4 of Harts--what's East meets West?
immargaret Posted April 13, 2006 #9 Share Posted April 13, 2006 It may be too late to order now, but at least you can get a feel for the prices...they should be about the same price on the ship. They will have quite a few more options on the ship.

luvseadays Posted April 13, 2006 #11 Share Posted April 13, 2006 Autumn--do you have a # for me to call, I talked with someone about a cake for our anniversary, then asked her about a bar set up and she acted like I had just landed from Ork. I did speak a little Mork from Ork after I got off the phone with her though, dippy do!
Michaelw5 Posted April 16, 2006 #12 Share Posted April 16, 2006 I never saw a bottle less than $40 in the specialty restaurants and we ate in them 6/7 nights. I did bring 4 bottles for the cabin. No problems and no corkage fee.
