Questions on Rum Point

We are a group of 4 adults and will be in Cayman Islands in August. We plan to rent a car (Avis or Budget) and drive to Rum Point for the day. Here are my questions. We are planning to snorkle while there. Do they rent snorkle equipment. We might bring our own. Do they rent just the life vests? Is there an admission to the beach? Do they open before 10:00 am? Is the food good or should we eat someplace on the way? Will we pass Hard Rock Cafe or Margeritaville? Do they have lockers at the beach? Do they have pushy vendors? Anything else you know about the trip would be grateful.
