Taxi Question to Magen's Bay Beach

Recommended Posts

In fEbruary, they charged us $9 pp to get to Coki Beach.

Typically, the taxis are large, open, bench seat fitted affairs that hold about 9 - 12 people. When you get off the ship they will ask you where you are headed to and will group you with others going either to the same place or the same general vicinity - at least if you get off when everyone else does.

For instance, when we went, 6 of us got off at Coki and the rest of the passengers were going on to Magen's Bay. The driver asked us (4 of us) if we wanted a pick up at a specific time and when the last two heard what time, they said they would come back with us also.

We are sailing on June 2 and one of ports of call is St. Thomas. We would like to go to Megan's Bay and I understand that it's easy to take a taxi there. My question is how easy is it to get a cab back to the pier?

Thanks

Vic
