Looking for information (comments) from anyone about this hotel. We have a one night pre-stay booked at the Carlton before our Australia, New Zealand Cruise next March.

We stayed at the Carlton Hotel, Auckland for two nights in February on a Grand Circle Tour. It is a beautiful, atrium hotel deserving its 5 star rating. It is perhaps a mile and a half from the hotel to the waterfront and the center of the business/shopping district. It is within walking distance from a main street that has convenience and wine stores. We only ate the buffet breakfast at the hotel. It was included in the GCT tour and was excellent. I’m sure you will enjoy your stay.
