CaptainCrunch Posted May 14, 2006 #1 Share Posted May 14, 2006 any idea what kind of distance we're talking? is it worth using RC for the trip to and from the airport, or would a taxi work just fine? (we'll be on Mariner on Aug 27th). thanks guys!

elleluv Posted May 14, 2006 #3 Share Posted May 14, 2006 You can rent a car at MCO and drop it off at the Port (and vise versa for after the cruise). We have a car rental from Budget for just a little over $40 in October.
twinmom38 Posted May 14, 2006 #4 Share Posted May 14, 2006 We also are renting a car, but there are many shuttle services that are far less than the RCL transfers... www.artsshuttle.com... www.tryustransportation.com. just to name a couple. If you need more, I have a list of them.. just email me... twinmom38@aol.com
steve20832 Posted May 14, 2006 #5 Share Posted May 14, 2006 A taxi is the most expensive way to go. It is about 40 miles and about an hour each way from MCO to the port. Last time I checked RCI was $25 per person each way. They take you to and from the terminal to the airport door without the hassle of dropping off a rental car. If there are only 2 of you going, this might be the best bet. If there are three or more, check with rental car agency.
