Jeep rentals in Aruba

Has anyone rented from American in Aruba? What was your experience? Would you recommend them? We leave on AOS in 4 weeks and a day (but who's counting) and are trying to finalize port plans.

 

I would have posted this on the Aruba board, but there doesn't seem to be near as much activity there as on this board.

Although I haven't bee to Aruba yet, I have read all the reviews about rentals there and American comes up as one of the best. I don't remember reading anything negative. I'm going to reserve a Jeep for our day in Aruba in October with them.

We couldn't resist posting this picture we took of a couple who got stuck in their rental last December in Aruba.

 

We were on a tour aboard a Land Rover and stopped when we saw that they were stuck. We didn't have equipment to help them get out but we couldn't resist the photo opp.
