Poker Games on Valor

Just got back from the 05/14/06 sailing on the Valor. The only ring poker game they have is Limit Texas Hold'em (no stud, draw, or omaha at all). The first night limits were $2/$4 and 2nd night thru rest of cruise limit was $3/$6.

There is only one table with 10 seated players. They have a waiting list and the list was always long often waiting 2 to 4 hours for a seat. I put my name on the list one night and went up to my room, watched a movie, took a shower, then ate dinner and when I went back to the casino there were still a couple names in front of mine. So if you want to play, either get there when the table opens or get your name on the list early.

The play was fun but with such low limits you really can't bluff or buy pots and I had my big pocket pairs busted many times by drawing hands that normally you wouldn't see in higher limit games.

We told them they definately need more poker tables and possibly some no limit poker tournaments but according to them space is the issue.

Have fun and good luck at the poker table!!!!
