mikenorca Posted June 28, 2004 #1 Share Posted June 28, 2004 Just got home after driving home from San Diego. Had a very nice first cruise on the Legend. Will write a review tommorrow. A couple of quick highlights. Captain Teo is very funny John Blair is very, very good. 18-20 years old allowed to drink and acting like idiots. Ship is beautiful. Service was very good. Workout room was efficient and well used. Drinks were too expensiuve so I did not drink and glad of it. I cannot believe how much some people drink. Kids programs were great. For all of the complaints I read about the coffee I was expecting something very poor. The coffee was excellent. I drank alot of it. The food was average but the presentation was great. Deserts were very good. Buffet not open all day but only during selcted hours. I did not like that. Entertainmrent was top notch. Michael McGuire (sic) a Tony award winner and the Drifters. We had to make an emergency stop on the way home at CAbo to drop off a group of young men who got intoi a drunken fight. The dress code was not enforced in either the windjammer (bare feet) not in the Dinning room, shorts, t-shirts. snadals etc. Despite the few complaints it was a great cruise and I cannot wait for my next one. suziehmkr Posted June 28, 2004 #2 Share Posted June 28, 2004 Thanks for the quick review. Can't wait to hear more. We sailed on Legend last week and one of our employees was on your sailing. Love comparing notes. Loved Michael MacGuire! He was great!! Loved the coffee too. Did Captain Teo give you the small flag joke during the Parade of Flags?
