Theme nights and St. Marteen

Recommended Posts

You may want to consider getting married on the ship, or before your cruise. It's not uncommon for ships to be rerouted due to hurricanes in Sept. It would be horrible to plan a wedding on one of the islands, & the ship not be able to go there. :(

A great excursion in St. Maarten is the America's Cup Regatta. Cruisers are put into teams which sail on different boats that were in the real America's Cup. Everyone will have a job to do, from grinders, to winch wenches, to timekeepers to barkeepers! We were lucky enough to draw the Stars and Stripes and we beat True North!

You can only book this excursion through the ship.

When you are on that page, on the left is a link to pictures from our time at Pinel Island off St. Maarten from this year's cruise.

I agree with Tarheel about the wedding - I have heard of too many people being very upset because the ship did not make a port where they had their wedding planned.

Congrats on the upcoming wedding and have a great cruise!
