cecilterwiliger Posted June 11, 2006 #1 Share Posted June 11, 2006 For anyone recently back from the Liberty cruise out of Rome, what days did they run the special $15 laundry bag and 2) Does anyone have a list of prices for laundry on other days and prices for ironing things such as pants and shirts? Thanks.
jleq Posted June 11, 2006 #2 Share Posted June 11, 2006 Price List: http://www.carnival.com/CMS/FAQs/Laundry_Services.aspx The "$15 bag" is late in the cruise. For my Liberty cruise (late April/early May) they wouldn't let you put shirts/blouses/pants/dresses in the bag

Someone on another board mentioined that for the European Liberty cruise they had 2 bag days and one was about the 9th day. I'm just weighing how much to pack if I don't make it to the washers. The list really helped though and will at least give me an idea.
redskin80 Posted June 11, 2006 #4 Share Posted June 11, 2006 We did that cruise last year and I do not recall having the laundry special for the entire 12 days.
I Luv Crusin Posted June 11, 2006 #5 Share Posted June 11, 2006 We had the laundry special on two days, 2 of the sea days. I think it was on the 2nd and 3rd sea day. Ask your room steward when you see them. The first time they didn't automatically give a laundry bag, the 2nd time I had JUST done a load not realizing that they were going to offer it a 2nd time. It was a large paper bag. A friend really packed her bag and got 3 stacks of laundry back!
cecilterwiliger Posted June 11, 2006 Author #6 Share Posted June 11, 2006 Thanks for the info. I wonder if it matters when you go, how full the ship is and how much laundry they are getting? Thanks for the tip to ask about it, I didn't know you could. Thanks to all for taking the time to answer. It is greatly appreciated.
luvz2run2000 Posted June 12, 2006 #7 Share Posted June 12, 2006 There were two laundry special days on the Liberty. The first was the day we pulled into Venice and the second the sea day after Sicily. I put blouses, my husband's polo shirts, shorts, pjs, socks, undies, t-shirts, a pair of capris, even my running clothes in the bag. Roll your stuff into tight little tubes and layer it in there, you can fit a ton of stuff. We fit everything that we had dirty into one bag. When it magically appeared clean and neatly folded that afternoon it took three bags to hold it all. My cabin steward teased me for the rest of the cruise about how much stuff I fit in the bag, he said I had the record. It was a real bargin for $15 and we didn't have to spend our vacation in the laundry room.....I can do that at home.:)
