deck plan maps

Recommended Posts

My brother is on the 6/11 sailing and I talked to him after he got on the ship. He did not receive any kind of book with deck plans when he boarded. He did the online check-in so I'm not sure if that's why.

You can always print a PDF of the deck plans on rccl.com. That is what I plan on doing so I know where to go. But at this point, I don't think I will need them. I have been looking at the deck plans for months now, I think I know where everything is now.

When getting onboard on the 4th I received a small map of the ship with basic deck plans. It was given to me with my Seapass when I checked in. They had been giving these out during the inaugural cruise I went to in NY also, so it is possible that they temporarily ran out last week. Maybe they are just in short supply and are still available upon request at the port. Additionally I noticed a passenger receiving one from Guest Relations on one of the days we were sailing. The best idea would be to ask at check in, and if they don't have one, ask again at Guest Relations.

The little map they hand you (if they hand you one) is fairly useless. The ship is VERY easy to navigate. Each elevator even lists every single area on each floor. Sometimes, after doing lots of stairs, I would get confused about which side was starboard versus port...especially when I used the forward stairs. Other than that, it was a breeze and things are very clearly marked.
