Stayed at Meriton Pitt Street in December 2005 and went back there in April 2006.

The Meriton Pitt/Bathurst is in such a great location. Close to the shops and you can either walk to Darling Harbor or Circular Quay or get the monorail or train.

I prefer having my own kitchen/living/dining area to being in a one-bedroom hotel room any day. You also can't beat having your own washing machine and dryer either. There a Woolworths just around the corner (Town Hall) where you can stock up on supplies for your kitchen.

One of the major complaints about the Meriton are that the elevators take an awfully long time to come once you press that "button". It can take up to 20 minutes when its busy, when guests are checking out.
