Anyone notice if any of the shops in Cabo, Mazatlan or PV were selling instruments? I'm looking for the Mexican 5 string guitar, think it's called a quarto.

You should post this question on the Ports/Mexican Riviera board - there are people who post there who live in Mexico. I remember seeing an occasional 6-string guitar last fall - I think it was in Cabo. My husband always finds guitars while I am shopping for jewelry or trinkets! It's a running joke with us - he thinks he needs one but I love to listen to him playing the keyboards so tell him he doesn't need it. (like I NEED more jewelry:D )
