Best hotel, pool and beach resort

We are going to book a hotel resort room for one night to use in Aruba for our long day there. Could someone please recommend what the best resort is for a pool and nice beach for a family to book? Thanks!

You will more than likely receive as many recommendations are there are hotels :) IMHO, for our land based vacations we stay at the Radisson or Aruba Spa Resort (former Wyndham). We enjoy both. The Radisson a little more, but it is also more expensive. Right now the Hyatt is offering extremely cheap pricing, but it is due to construction renovations around the resort.

 

The Renaissance Resort is right there at in downtown Oranjestad where your ship will be docked. They offer a swimming pool on the roof of their Marina Tower, a pool at their Ocean Tower as well as a man made beach. Of course they also offer their own private island. If you do a search here on the forum, you will find that there is a lot of information about it.
