dwetmore Posted June 30, 2004 #1 Share Posted June 30, 2004 Hi, I would like to book a cruise in February. Does anyone have any suggestions traveling with two girls ages 10 and 11.
GolfingDV Posted July 1, 2004 #2 Share Posted July 1, 2004 dewtmore, Our girls were about that age on their first cruise. It was thanksgiving week so there were quite a few young kids on our ship. They had a great time. They spent some time with the Carnival Kids organized stuff but also spent a lot of time with us. They really enjoyed the nightly dining, being waited on all the time, and especially the formal nights. They swam in the pool, went with us to most of the "G" rated shows, and thing like that. I think they would have a great time. We also left them with grandmom one year and cruised as adults. Parents need to do that occasionally too. ahracer Posted July 22, 2004 #3 Share Posted July 22, 2004 I'm taking my girls 13, 12 and 6 on the Star Princess in Feb. I find the Personal Choice dining is a big help when cruising with kids. Plus the freshwater pools are nice. Scott
