Experience with driver/guides in Italy?

Recommended Posts

PennyG, thank you for reporting this. We have Nello booked in September. I asked all of the drivers what I could bring them from the US and he was the only one who said he wanted nothing more than for us to enjoy the tour. I appreciate this information.

Just returned yesterday from Brilliance of the Seas where we went on 3 private tours of Italy.

Tuscany Tours- Paola Migliorini is amazing. We toured Pisa and Florence with her. Paola OWNS Florence. She drives and parks wherever she wants, bypasses lines of tourists, and knows this city like nobody else. She is not just a "driver". Paola takes you into each site and explains in detail what you are seeing. Just outstanding. info@florencetours.com

Pleasant Travel- Mariano Fiorentino and his niece Marianna took us on a great tour of the Amalfi coast and Pompeii out of Naples. Great people. Marianna is charming and knowledgeable. info@pleasantravel.com

Romecabs- Stefano Costantini took us through Rome to all of the main attractions. He knows Rome and explained it all... romecabs@yahoo.com
