Bear attacks Hawaiian women

The news broke today but I didn't know that this lady lives in the same town as I do. We took the Rainforest Sanctuary tour in Ketchican and one of the first things the guide tells us is what to do if we confront a bear and what to do if it attacks. On that day there were no bears to be seen.
