Princeville Zip N Dip - How far from Nawiliwili?

We were planning on doing the zip-n-dip, and booked the 9:00 a.m. check-in. Our boat docks at 7:00 a.m. We were thinking it was about a 45 min drive (based on a post here from someone who had driven it), which would give us time to grab the rental car and get up there. However, the people we booked through said it is an 1.5 hour drive. Can anyone advise if we can make the 9:00 check-in?

It's definitely longer than 45 minutes. I think it is at least 30 miles from the airport to Princeville, and you will not be zipping along at 60 miles an hour. Plan on closer to the 1-1/2 hours (although I think it might be a bit less than that). IMO, you are really pushing it to be able to get off the ship, get the car, get on the road, and get to Princeville in that time frame. I'm sure the trip will take well over an hour.
