Pink Sand?

Some beaches are pinker than others; some are not pink at all. Pretty much all of the beaches on the south shore have some pink in them, elsewhere on the island the beaches are unlikely to have enough red particles in them to appear pink.

Went to Tobacco Bay on Monday and never realized it was pink..It looked like play sand from the lumber yard. On Wednesday, went to Horseshoe Bay and it wasvery soft pale pink. Look for the pink flecks in the sand. We emptied our water bottle and brought some back. Its a very soft sand at Horseshoe, much more softer than Tobacco Bay.
