Melb1127 Posted July 14, 2006 #1 Share Posted July 14, 2006 Do all of Bermuda's beaches have pink sand or is it limited to certain beaches? If so, which beach is the best one to visit?
Pleiades Posted July 14, 2006 #2 Share Posted July 14, 2006 Some beaches are pinker than others; some are not pink at all. Pretty much all of the beaches on the south shore have some pink in them, elsewhere on the island the beaches are unlikely to have enough red particles in them to appear pink. I encourage you to use the search feature for more info, like this thread: http://boards.cruisecritic.com/showthread.php?t=225109

bajsf Posted July 16, 2006 #5 Share Posted July 16, 2006 Went to Tobacco Bay on Monday and never realized it was pink..It looked like play sand from the lumber yard. On Wednesday, went to Horseshoe Bay and it wasvery soft pale pink. Look for the pink flecks in the sand. We emptied our water bottle and brought some back. Its a very soft sand at Horseshoe, much more softer than Tobacco Bay.
