Prepaid Vouchers vs. Cash

Recommended Posts

Having not discovered a problem with the room assignments until the vouchers arrived and receiving a polite "there is nothing we can do" from Guest Relations, just thought I would post this info...

1. If you use Prepaid Vouchers, RCCL uses their computer info to generate them regardless of variances you might indicate on the form you turn in. In my case it was the reality that my little one was in our room versus across the hall with his two sisters (in a room that only supported a double  ) as shown in the computer. Shame on me for not checking his SeaPass... although frankly, other than getting on or off the ship, it was never used for anything else.

2. Your attendants and wait staff get paid on the vouchers two weeks after the conclusion of your cruise.

In summary, although a convenience I will forego that convenience in the future for putting cash in the hands of the people that worked so hard to make our trip so pleasant.
