Attention fans of steam railroads and Alaska!

My DH is a rail fan, especially of steam engines and has done the White Pass several times on our many cruises to Alaska. However they only run the restored 'steam' engines on the weekends and our cruises have always visited Skagway during the week.

 

Next year the Pacific Princess will be sailing out of Vancouver and visiting Skagway on a Sunday northbound and a Saturday southbound. We are doing back to backs and DH will get to experience them twice. :D

 

We are also looking forward to the Pacific Princess experience. When we booked our northbound cruise they were only waitlisting the southbound, reserving those spots for land/cruise combinations. Southbound is now open for general booking.

 

We are sailing the northbound June 6th and the southbound June 13th.

We would love to know about any other rail fans who might sign on.
