navygf Posted August 5, 2006 #3 Share Posted August 5, 2006 I was there for dinner in December 2004. I no longer eat red meat, however, my friend that went with me was craving a good steak. Lots of people will tell you it's the best beef on the island. My friend loved it. I thought she was going to lick the plate after she devoured her meal. I ordered a seafood platter. Not so good. However, it was still a decent meal for me. The pumpkin soup was very good there. If you plan on going, definitely get a reservation. When my friend and I went, it was a last minute decision and we waited over close to 2 hours for a table for 2. The local # there is 582-3677 or you can find them online at http://www.elgaucho-aruba.com.
Cruiseaway05 Posted August 31, 2006 #4 Share Posted August 31, 2006 If you like beef, it is awesome! Worth the trip - we plan to go while there on cruise in November.
